BAPTIST HEALTH ADVANTAGE HEALTH CENTER
North Little Rock, Arkansas
A senior care clinic that creates a more patient centered healthcare experience. Designed with wellness and patients in mind, the clinic provides a community space that accommodates fitness classes or seminars, and a waiting area that incites a sense of familiarity through cozy furnishings and complementary coffee bar. Curved features were used to create soft transitions throughout the reception area and clinic corridors. Warm wood and jewel tones were chosen to create a sense of nostalgia for the patients as well as coordinate with the Baptist Health branding.
KIDZ CHOICE DENTAL CLINIC
Fort Smith, Arkansas
The design for this kid’s dental clinic was inspired by the elementary triangular lines of a tooth, using colors from the company’s refreshed branding. Throughout the clinic, triangles, diagonal lines and solid tertiary colors were used to create a space that is colorful, fun, and energetic without catering to a specific age. Each space has the opportunity for the pediatric patients to learn about making healthy habits and choices as well as bright splashes of color to engage and guide them through the clinic.

PINNACLE DERMATOLOGY
Little Rock, Arkansas
A warm, natural environment, somewhat distanced from the popular white and super modern, was desired for this dermatology clinic. The physicians walk their patients through several phases of medical, surgical, and cosmetic services with individualized treatment plans, so the idea of the journey to skin health along with the desire for elements of nature were combined to develop a concept based on a path. The concept was executed with changes in ceiling heights and materials (the focal wood ceiling in the waiting room immediately engaging you at the entry), patterns in flooring materials at way finding points, (such as seen in the corridors and nurse station), a clear and organized space plan among calming, approachable, and warm materials.

ARKANSAS DERMATOLOGY SKIN CANCER CENTER
North Little Rock, Arkansas
A dermatology clinic specializing in skin cancer caters to a demographic namely of patients of advanced age. To avoid confusion for the client base, the clinic’s space and circulation was to be clear and precise. The muted and sophisticated color palette as well as symmetrical and simplistic space plan allow its occupants to navigate the clinic without over stimulation of color and dramatic material changes. Patient zones and staff zones are easily identified with clear circulation as well as contrasting finishes and materials, such as with the raised wood paneling ceilings and contrasting vinyl floors, which provided visual clues for wayfindinging the space.
STOCKTON MEDICAL PLAZA
North Little Rock, Arkansas
This Class A Office Building is a real estate development by a physician owner occupant. The design for the shell reflects surgical procedures inspired by the business type. The interiors reflect the cutting of a knife through the use of mirrored diagonal lines in the floor and ceiling that carve through the public areas. Lines continue from the exterior of the building leading into the entrance to create a unified design for the building while also leading the occupant through the spaces Colors and patterns in the floor symbolize different stages of surgery; before, during & after. The simplicity of the color palette and materials enhances the dramatic lighting and flooring transitions.

LUNDY DENTAL

With hospitality and patient comfort a priority, the clinic was designed to feel more like a dental boutique. Equipped with a focal reception desk, hospitality niche, large scale treatment bays, impeccable lighting, enhanced volume, and a calming atmosphere, the clinic’s perception is more of a comfortable treatment experience, rather than a stressful, sterile setting associated with other clinics. A contemporary, yet calming atmosphere with attention to design evokes the important advanced techniques and latest innovations play in this clinic. All design decisions were made with attention to patient’s perception, experience, and circulation throughout.

BARG GRAY CLINIC

After more than 40 years of practice and two moves within the same building (from one space to a larger space to expand their growing practice), the clinic desired to once again increase their patient care capacity with doctors, staff and a new building. The new home for Barg Gray Clinic is located in West Little Rock and consists of a 56 seat capacity waiting room with separate child-ill and child-well activity areas within view of the waiting area, receptionist with attached business office support, Phlebotomy lab, Xray room, staff break room that doubles as a staff meeting room, 8 doctor offices with 4 nurse stations for support and 28 private exam rooms. All exam rooms are provided with high windows that allow natural daylight in while providing patient privacy.

PEDIATRICS PLUS
Little Rock, Arkansas
Williams & Dean assisted Pediatrics Plus with developing a new learning and therapy center in Little Rock. The 31,500 square foot, two-story, new building meets their expansion needs. Pediatrics Plus is a full-service therapy and childcare center that offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy up to age 18, in addition to preschool learning classrooms ranging from infant to pre-K. This new facility offers 3 large therapy gyms, learning labs, a full-scale, assisted daily living apartment, a dozen classrooms, a large training room, and 2 outdoor playgrounds.
